About Us
The Cascade P-Patch and Giving Garden are in the middle of the bustling South Lake Union neighborhood in Seattle.
While our P-Patch has individual plot owners, it is open for all to walk through and enjoy a working garden (you cannot take anything while visiting). The Giving Garden is community ran and most of the produce goes to a local food bank.
If you are interested in your own p-patch, you can find information on the City of Seattle site here.
The Benefits of a Community P-Patch
A P-Patch is a community garden space that allows residents to cultivate own plots of land fostering a sense of community and collaboration. These gardens not only provide fresh produce but also promote environmental sustainability and biodiversity. Participants can share gardening tips, resources, and harvests, creating vibrant social network. Overall, Patches enhance urban living by transforming vacant lots into green, productive spaces.
